Brookline Police Blotter Feb. 28-March 4

Aggravated Assault

  • A woman reported that someone she knew assaulted her at her home in the 1200 block of Berkshire Avenue in Brookline on March 3. Officers have applied for an arrest warrant for the suspect.

Theft

  • A man told police someone stole a wallet he had left unattended in the 500 block of Brookline Boulevard in Brookline. The wallet contained ID and money. The incident was reported March 2 at 1:54 p.m.
  • A woman reported that two people she knew stole jewelry from a jewelry box in her home in the 1400 block of Chelton Avenue in Brookline. The incident occurred March 2 between 8 and 9 p.m.
  • A man told police that someone stole a magnetic sign off of his vehicle while it was parked in the 2500 block of Wedgemere Avenue in Brookline. The incident occurred between 7:45 p.m. on March 2 and 3 a.m. on March 3.

Stolen Vehicle

  • A man reported that someone stole his motorcycle without the keys from the 100 block of Capitol Avenue in Brookline. The incident occurred between 12:01 a.m. on March 1 and 10 a.m. on March 2.

Criminal Mischief

  • A man reported that a group of unknown juveniles threw rocks at his home in the 2600 block of Pioneer Avenue in Brookline and broke his front window. The incident occurred March 3 at 10:30 p.m.
  • A man reported that someone broke the front window of his home in the 800 block of Brookline Boulevard. The incident occurred March 2 at 11 p.m.
  • A woman told police that someone broke a mirror of her vehicle and spilled soda in the car while it was parked near Wedgemere Street and Fitch Way in Brookline. The incident occurred between 8 p.m. on March 2 and 8:30 a.m. March 3.

Arrests

  • A man was arrested for assaulting two police officers during a domestic incident in the 800 block of Bay Ridge Avenue in Brookline. The incident occurred March 3 at 12:51 a.m.
  • A man was arrested for domestic violence and possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver. The arrest was made in the 2400 block of Vodeli Street in Beechview on March 3.
  • Levi Lewandowski of Green Tree was arrested for DUI in the 1400 block of Crane Avenue in Banksville on Feb. 29.
