Brookline Police Blotter Feb. 21 - Feb. 27

A roundup of crimes reported in Brookline.

Burglary:

A person reported on Feb. 23 that someone forced open a rear door of a property in the 600 block of Linda Drive and stole jewelry, money and prescription medication.

Theft:

A woman reported on Feb. 24 that someone took her wallet from the corner of Whited Street and Saw Mill Run Boulevard. The woman reported that the wallet had been left unattended on a gas pump.

A man reported on Feb. 25 that his roommate stole his cell phone in the 2800 block of Sussex Avenue.

Theft From Vehicle

A man reported on Feb. 22 that someone stole electronics from his unlocked car in the 800 block of Berkshire Avenue.

A woman reported on Feb. 23 that someone stole electronics, a GPS device and a purse from her unlocked car in the 900 block of Woodbourne Avenue.

A woman reported on Feb. 23 that someone stole a GPS device from her unlocked car in the 900 block of Woodbourne Avenue.

A man reported on Feb. 23 that someone stole a laptop computer from his unlocked car in the 800 block of Fordham Street.

Stolen Vehicle:

A man reported on Feb. 25 that someone took his parked vehicle from the 2000 block of Plainview Avenue. The man reported that the vehicle was taken without its keys.

Arrests:

Anthony Cardamone of Brookline was arrested on Feb. 23 on suspicion of DUI at Whited Street and Saw Mill Run Boulevard.

Lewis McHirella was arrested on Feb. 25 on suspicion of false identification in the 700 block of Brookline Boulevard.

Edward Barnaba of Beechview was arrested on Feb. 26 on suspicion of DUI in the 2500 block of West Liberty Avenue.
