Brookline Police Blotter Feb. 15 to Feb. 22

The following information was supplied by Pittsburgh Police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

  • The victim reported that someone forced open a rear door and entered a vacant apartment in the 1500 block of Methyl Street in Beechview. Nothing appeared missing at the time of the report. The incident occurred between 12:30 and 7:56 a.m. on Feb. 15.
  • A man reported that someone entered his residence in the 500 block of Oaklynn Court in Banksville through an unlocked front door. Money and prescription medication were stolen. The incident occurred Feb. 15 between 10:30 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Theft from vehicle

  • A man reported that someone removed the rear windshield wiper from his vehicle while it was parked in the 1400 block of Merrick Avenue in Brookline. The incident occurred Feb. 17 between midnight and 6 a.m.

Stolen Vehicle

  • A man reported that someone stole his vehicle without the keys from where it was parked in the 100 block of Capital Avenue in Brookline. The incident occurred on Feb. 19 between 1 and 1:30 a.m.

Criminal Mischief

  • It was reported that someone damaged a gas pump at the 7 Eleven on Brookline Boulevard and fled. The incident occurred on Feb. 15 at 2:20 p.m.

  • Two women were arrested for domestic violence in the 1300 block of Rockland Avenue in Beechview on Feb. 17.
  • Jennifer Jenkins of Brookline was arrested for DUI in the 1900 block of Pioneer Avenue in Brookline on Feb. 14.
  • A woman was arrested for domestic violence in the 1100 block of Woodbourne Avenue in Brookline on Feb. 17.
  • Sean Barnes of Maryland was arrested for DUI and Parquet and Bodkin streets in Brookline on Feb. 19.
  • Steven Hann of Banksville was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of Oaklynn Court in Banksville on Feb. 19.
  • Cassandra Skinkis of South Park was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at Brookline Boulevard and Witt Street in Brookline on Feb. 16.
