Burglary

  • The victim reported that someone forced open a shed and stole a motorcycle saddlebag from a Dorchester Avenue property in Brookline between Dec. 27 and Dec. 31.

Stolen Vehicle

  • A woman reported that someone stole her vehicle without the keys from Bellaire Avenue in Brookline on Dec. 30.

  • The victim reported that someone kicked in a basement door of a Fallowfield Avenue property in Beechview on Dec. 28. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.
  • A woman reported that someone threw a rock and broke the window of her vehicle while it was parked on Capital Avenue in Brookline on Dec. 29.
  • A woman reported that someone broke the window of her vehicle while it was parked on Brookline Boulevard in Brookline on Dec. 29.
  • A man reported that someone cut the lock off of the shed at his Milan Avenue property in Brookline on Dec. 31.

Arrests

  • Daniel Wasky of Scott Township was arrested for possession of heroin at Bayonne Avenue and Methyl Street in Beechview on Dec. 29.
  • A man was arrested for domestic violence on Chelton Avenue in Brookline on Dec. 26.
  • Daniel Gelzhiser of Brookline was arrested for DUI at Stebbins Avenue and Harex Way in Brookline on Dec. 27.
  • Robert Florian of Bloomfield was arrested for DUI at Banksville Road and Wenzell Avenue in Beechview on Dec. 26.
  • A man was arrested for domestic violence on Tonopah Avenue in Beechview on Dec. 30.
  • Richard Fairbaugh of Brookline was arrested for DUI on Whited Street in Brookline on Dec. 26.
