Brookline Police Blotter April 25—May 2

A round-up of crimes reported in Brookline.

Burglary:

A person reported Monday that someone entered his home in the 300 block of LaMarido Street and stole electronics.

Theft:

A woman reported Monday that someone stole outdoor lighting from her yard in the 1900 block of Jacob Street.

A man reported Wednesday that someone stole a puppy from the 2500 block of West Liberty Avenue.

 Theft from Vehicle:

A woman reported Saturday that someone stole identification from her vehicle in the 600 block of Mayville Avenue.

Arrests:

Jeffrey Zerbe, of Beechview, and Bernie Cassedy, of Venetia, were arrested on West Liberty and Capital avenues on Tuesday on suspicion of possession of prescription drugs.

James Priore, 21, of 1444 Bellaire Place, was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop about 4 p.m. Monday in Whitehall, according to Whitehall police.

Priore was a passenger in a car driven by Krista Sunseri, 20, of Baldwin, who was also charged with marijuana possession. Police said they smelled marijuana after stopping her for running a stop sign at South Passage and Caste drives, then found marijuana on Sunseri and Priori.
