Brookline Police Blotter 12/7 to 12/14

Robbery

• Michael Laughlin of Carrick and Terrell Gorman of Carrick were arrested for robbing a bank at 700 Brookline Blvd. in Brookline on Dec. 6.

Burglary

• The victim reported that a possible known actor forced open a bedroom door and removed electronics and prescription medication before fleeing from a Beechview Avenue home in Beechview on Dec. 9.

Theft

• A female victim reported that an unknown actor stole a mailbox from the front porch of her Chrysler Avenue home in Brookline on Dec. 11.

• A victim on Banksville Road reported on Dec. 9 that an identified actor requested repairs be done to his vehicle and didn't pay.

Theft from Vehicle

• The victim reported that an unknown actor stole a purse, credit cards and check books from an unlocked car on Beechview Avenue in Beechview.

• A male victim reported that an unknown actor entered his vehicle on Fernhill Avenue in Brookline on Dec. 7, broke the ignition and attempted to steal it. The actor was not successful. Prescription medication and an IPod was also taken from the vehicle.

• A female victim reported on Dec. 9 that an unknown actor removed the registration sticker off of her license plate while her car was on Bellaire Place in Brookline.

Criminal Mischief

• A female victim reported that a possible known actor slashed three of her vehicle’s tires and broke the mirror while it was parked on Kenberma Avenue in Beechview on Dec. 7. 

Arrests

• Marie Garda-Knoche of Castle Shannon was arrested for DUI on Berkshire Avenue in Brookline on Dec. 10.

• A female actor was arrested for domestic violence on Breining Street in Brookline on Dec. 8.

• Lena Broz of Crafton was arrested for DUI at Wenzell Avenue and West Liberty Avenue in Beechview on Dec. 7.
