Brookline Man Involved in Fight After Youth Football Banquet

The incident occurred on Saturday night at Salvatore's in south Baldwin Borough.

A Brookline man was involved in a fight along Curry Road after youth football organization's banquet, Baldwin-Whitehall Patch reports.

According to the report, Baldwin Borough police went to the Curry Commons shopping plaza in south Baldwin at around 10:33 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, for a report of multiple fights, as well as a suspected intoxicated driver leaving the plaza's parking lot with children.

Witnesses told police Gregory M. Borneman, 31, of Brookline, was fighting with other men both before and after driving his car in and near the parking lot.

Police are charging Borneman with DUI, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

The incident took place after a banquet for Thomas Jefferson Youth Football at Salvatore's of Little Giant World of Catering.
