BREAKING: Burglary Arrest in Brookline

Raymond Jeffrey Walsh of Brookline was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

Raymond Jeffrey Walsh, 50, of Brookline, was charged with criminal trespass after Pittsburgh police arrested him Sunday for a burglary in Brookline.

According to a city-wide alert posted Tuesday, police responded on Jan. 1 to a report of a burglary in progress in the 1400 block of Bellaire Place. A woman told police she received an electronic alert that there was movement inside her home, including a photo of the intruder.

Based on the photo, police determined that the intruder was Walsh, who lives in the neighborhood. He was arrested in the 1400 block of Milan Avenue, charged with criminal trespass and taken to Allegheny County Jail.
