AVOID AREA: Severe Flooding on McNeilly Road

Part of the popular route is closed.

Heavy rain has led to flooding, which has caused McNeilly Road—from Route 88 to approximately Sussex Avenue—to close on Friday afternoon.

Emergency workers are on the scene trying to control water and direct cars away from the area.

Motorists may use Pearce Road/Dewalt Drive on the Baldwin Township-Mt. Lebanon border to get around the flooding.

McNeilly runs through and the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Brookline and Overbrook.
