Assault, Thefts Reported to Pittsburgh Police

The following incidents were reported to Pittsburgh Police during the first two weeks of June.

Aggravated Assault

  • A woman told police someone struck her car with a brick and broke a window while the car was parked at Crane Avenue and Banksville Road in Beechview. The incident occurred on June 15 at 8 p.m.

Theft from vehicle

  • Clothes and a GPS unit were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2000 block of Plainview Avenue in Brookline o June 14 between midnight and 6:10 a.m.
  • Someone forced open a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Fitch Way in Brookline and stole a radio and GPS unit. The incident occurred between 9 p.m. on June 11 and 11:15 p.m. on June 12.
