Arrest Warrant Issued for Brookline Bank Robbery Suspect

Chester Belback is wanted for robbing the Community Bank branch in Brookline on Wednesday. He is considered armed.

Pittsburgh police have issued an arrest warrant for Chester Belback, who allegedly robbed the Brookline Boulevard branch of Community Bank on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the police, Belback is carrying a stolen firearm, and residents should not approach him. If his whereabouts are known, police are asking residents to call either 911 or the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Robbery Squad at 412-323-7151. Callers can remain anonymous.

Belback, 39, is known to frequent the South Side Flats and the Mt. Oliver areas.
