Armed Robbery at Dormont CoGo's

Dormont police are looking for the suspect in Sunday's robbery.

Dormont police are looking for the suspect in an armed robbery at CoGo's on Potomac Avenue early Sunday morning.

Police from Dormont, Mt. Lebanon, Castle Shannon, Baldwin Township and the City of Pittsburgh responded to the store at 6:50 a.m. on March 17.

According to the police report, a man entered the store, pulled a semi-automatic style pistol out of his jacket and put it on the counter, then said to the clerk, "Hand over all the money."

A total of $137 was stolen from the store. Surveillance footage from inside the store showed a white male wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket, with light-colored blue jeans and light-colored tennis shoes.

The man also was wearing gray gardening gloves, black ski hat, and had either a dark-colored scarf or a dark-colored t-shirt covering his face. He ran from the store in the direction of Broadway Avenue, according to the report.
