Gluten Free Living…Is it For You?

Is Gluten Free living diet for you?

Yes, Yes, Yes…It’s FRIDAY! I clearly could not be happier! I am so ready for a plan free weekend.  My only plans are hanging out, getting some stuff done around our house, and meeting my BFF Morgan for coffee and walking.  Do you have any fun plans! There is something that I love so much about having zero plans.  I mean, not all the time, but every once it awhile…it is fabulous! Right?!

So as I am sitting here drinking my coffee and eating Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Puffed cereal…I came across an article that really got my attention. It was all about Gluten Free Living.  It is so interesting to me how this has pretty much become a diet “FAD”. I do not have Celiac disease  nor have I ever eaten a Gluten Free diet.  As a person who studied Nutrition and Dietetics, I understand the disease, and the NEED to obviously eat Gluten free….however, what do you think of the benefits of eating Gluten Free while you do not have an allergy to Gluten? People claim that they have 1. lost weight 2. skin is more clear 3. lose inches in their mid-section and 4. Have much more energy and so much more.  Is it worth trying OR too much of a hassle? Is it living Gluten Free OR Wheat Free? I may have to give it a try!  Any of my readers living a Gluten Free OR Wheat Free lifestyle?

Years ago, people who have developed Celiac’s Disease struggled with finding options of products/food they can enjoy.  Now, when going to the grocery store, there is an entire section and hundreds of options! Do we need Gluten in our bodies OR are we healthier without it? How do you feel about WHEAT?! Check out the article that sparked this thought.
