DORMONT HISTORICAL SOCIETY SPEAKER SERIES

On Wednesday, September 18, 2013, the Dormont Historical Society will present local adventurer and sailor, Edd Hale.  Mr. Hale, who is a retired Keystone Oaks high school teacher, will offer a program entitled "The U.S. Brig Niagara," based on his experiences as a volunteer aboard the historic tall ship, Niagara, on the waters of Lake Erie.  The presentation, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Dormont Presbyterian Church, corner of Potomac and Espy Avenues.  For more information contact the Dormont Historical Society at 412-341-3667.
