West Liberty Avenue Restrictions At Pauline Avenue This Weekend

The restrictions are part of the West Liberty Avenue reconstruction project.

Access to and from Pauline Avenue from northbound West Liberty Avenue will be closed Friday night through Monday morning, weather permitting, according to PennDOT.

Crews will be reconstructing the center of West Liberty in the area. Restrictions are from 7 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday; Detours will be posted.

Center lanes on West Liberty will be closed, restricting traffic to a single lane in each direction. Motorists won't be able to left turn from inbound West Liberty to Pauline or turn left from Pauline to inbound West Liberty.

Outbound West Liberty traffic will still be able to turn right onto Pauline and outbound Pauline traffic will be able to turn right onto West Liberty.

From Pauline Avenue to inbound West Liberty Avenue

·         Make left onto Broadway Avenue

·         Left onto Wenzell Avenue

·         Make left onto inbound West Liberty Avenue

·         End detour

From inbound West Liberty Avenue to Pauline Avenue

·         Continue inbound past Pauline Avenue

·         Turn left off West Liberty Avenue onto Curran Hill Avenue

·         Bear right to Fairacres Avenue

·         Make left onto Tonapah Street

·         Right onto Belasco Avenue

·         Left onto Broadway Avenue

·         Follow Broadway Avenue to Pauline Avenue

·         End detour

Note: Work previously scheduled for this weekend at Saranac Avenue has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
