Wall Reconstruction on Liberty Bridge Ramp Begins Today

Wall rehabilitation on Liberty Bridge ramp to Crosstown Boulevard begins today.

Those crossing the Liberty Bridge to get into downtown Pittsburgh and back from Dormont and Brookline could hit more construction during their commutes around the city.

PennDOT will begin work to reconstruct a large retaining wall on the ramp from the Liberty Bridge to northbound I-579 (Crosstown Boulevard) in the City of Pittsburgh, today, Monday, April 9, weather permitting.

Traffic on the ramp will be reduced to a single, 11-foot wide lane, 24 hours a day, from today through November.
