Silent Partner and Hausen, Saturday at the Hollywood

Two bands with local roots will headline the first show of a .

Tickets are still available for Silent Partner and Hausen, who will perform this Saturday at Hollywood Theater at 7:30 p.m. Members of both bands grew up in Dormont and Brookline.

Silent Partner is sponsoring the concert series, with the plan of featuring several local bands and various genres of music. A full schedule for the concert series has not been determined, and Silent Partner member Lou Pietosi said he hopes it will be an ongoing series.

The theater will receive 40 percent of the proceeds from each show. Dormont Presbyterian Church will allow Hollywood Theater patrons to park in their lot on concert nights, and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh plans to do a live, three-camera concert video of the April 28 show.
