Registration Now Open for 20th Anniversary of Race for the Cure

You can now register online for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, fighting breast cancer.

Celebrating 20 years in 2012, the Pittsburgh Race for the Cure® has opened registration for the annual event next year. Register at www.komenpittsburgh.org by Dec. 31 to receive $5 off each individual registration.

Sleep in for the Cure® is back by popular demand, and new this year is Babies for the Cure® for the tiniest supporters in the fight against breast cancer.

The 20th anniversary Komen Pittsburgh Race for the Cure will be held on Mother’s Day, May 13 in Schenley Park in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

To commemorate the milestone, the Komen Pittsburgh Affiliate is seeking breast in 1992 as well as those who have participated in every race. Women—and men—are encouraged to call 412-921-6222 ext. 7 or email stephanie@mcmahon-cardillo.com with their stories of survivorship or Race participation.
