PennDOT Work in Dormont, Brookline This Week
PennDOT will be installing signs on West Liberty Avenue through Dormont and into Pittsburgh this week.
PennDOT will be installing signs on West Liberty Avenue in the City of Pittsburgh and the Borough of this week, between May 7 and May 11, weather permitting.
Short-term lane closures will occur as needed in each direction between McFarland Road and Wenzell Avenue. Inbound restrictions will occur from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and outbound restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.

The overall $7.3 million project started in 2010 to improve about 2.44 miles of West Liberty Avenue from Saw Mill Run Boulevard to McFarland Road. The Lane Construction Corporation of Pittsburgh is the prime contractor.
