Long-Term Single Lane Traffic Begins Monday on West Liberty Ave. in Pittsburgh

The closures are necessary so workers can remove old trolley tracks.

West Liberty Avenue will be reduced to a single lane in each direction starting Monday night into early November so workers can remove buried trolley track and block as part of the road's reconstruction.

The affected single-lane section is between Brookside Avenue and Wenzell Avenue/Brookline Boulevard.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution and expect delays.
