Single lane traffic in the Liberty Tunnel will occur nightly this week, Oct. 24-27, for cleaning operations.
Restrictions will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. according to the following schedule:
- Inbound (northbound) Monday and Tuesday nights, Oct. 24-25.
- Outbound (southbound) Wednesday and Thursday nights, Oct. 26-27.
One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, allow extra time and expect changing traffic patterns in the tunnel.
