KO Student Wins Patch Contest for "The Nutcracker" Tickets

A Keystone Oaks student and her mother are winners of a pair of tickets to the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's upcoming holiday production of "The Nutcracker."

During the past couple of weeks, we asked you to enter Patch’s "Nutcracker Tradition" photo contest by sharing a photo of your favorite child holding your family’s favorite nutcracker.

The prize? Two tickets to "The Nutcracker," Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's always-in-demand production of the classic story of Marie and her Nutcracker Prince.

The winner for Dormont-Brookline Patch is Susan Durham of Green Tree, who submitted the above photo of her daughter, Audrey.

"We're both really excited to go," Durham said. "We're really looking forward to this."

Durham said she and her daughter are excited to attend the performance. Audrey, a student at Keystone Oaks Middle School, recently performed in a production of "The Nutcracker" at Carnegie Performing Arts Center. Her mother said the experience will make seeing Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's production even more special.
