Combing Through Craigslist: Unique Stuff for Sale in Dormont-Brookline

We decided to comb Craigslist to find some of the more unique items for sale in the Dormont-Brookline area. Take a look and see if you agree.

4 Ultra Rare Godzilla Statues - $80 (Brookline)

• "4 ultra rare gogzilla statues, a must for any godzilla fan!"

Compost Bin - $70 (Dormont)

• This bin has produced some great soil. Its former site is now the location of a very productive vegetable garden. I would still be using it except cannot use it where I now live so have switched to a different method. I used it for about 1.5 years quite close to my townhouse and never had pest problems of any sort. Compost broke down quickly (I paid attention to the ratios). When I was forced to disassemble it on a cold January day, steam rose from the pile and composters scurried for cover (i.e. it works). I paid around $160 for it.

Washington Star Final Edition 8/7/81 - $5 (Brookline)

• "Last edition of the Washington Star, published Aug. 7, 1981. Complete edition, includes all sections. Very good condition, but the paper has yellowed with age. Multiple copies available, $5 each, quantity discount possible."

3 Vintage Tiffany Style Coca Cola 18" Hanging Lamps - $100 (Beechview)

• $100 each or $275 for the set of 3. Vintage collectible Coke hanging lamps with chain/wire from possibly the 70's. Perfect for over the bar or over the pool table. All are 18" in diameter and have their globes. Two are identical and one is different in color and crown design. Perhaps a center light? The darker one has has a crack repaired in the crown section but is barely noticeable. Made of a resin or fiberglass material.

2 Grand Marnier Cold Liquor Dispenser - $75 (Brookline)

• "2 Grand Marnier Cold Liquor dispensers. Can be used with any kind of liquid or alcohol. One is in a little better shape than the other but both work fine. I do not have the power cords for them, they should be available online and not very expensive."
