Queens Diamond Jubilee Congratulations Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Mountbatten-Windsor, Congratulations!!!
Queens Diamond Jubilee
So patch land I have 1 question for you….What will you be doing @ 4:15 am on Tuesday 6-5? Me, I’ll be up w/ tea & biscuits watching the celebration of the Queens 60th year as ruler of all things British.
Now, You say, WHY??? It has nothing to do w/ us…I could care less… Well think again People.

This woman has been the Ruler of a Country that not only has huge political ties to the U.S. but she also rules over The 14 British Overseas Territories. During her reign, there have been 12 British prime ministers, 12 U.S. presidents, six popes and she has visited 116 countries, That is huge.
Why do you think it’s a big POW-WOW to see if Charles will be King or if it will go right to William? What goes on in that neck of the woods directly affects us in more ways than you think.

While I for one don’t want to get to deep here, so on a lighter note, I will be watching for 3 reasons…
1. The Drama…You know as well as I do, you want someone or something to happen? Will Charles throw a tantrum? Will William finally not be so stuffy anymore? (Who would have though Harry would be the cool one?) Will Fergie show up & who did she bribe to be there? So many things can or might happen….
I mean don’t you ever wonder if she thought she ever really be Queen (I would luv to ask her this). Queen Elizabeth II, who once was a shy princess, was thrust onto the throne by the abdication of her uncle and then the death of her father, would it ever have happened? I mean the Queen was not always liked & had seemed a bit stuffy (why does this word always come up), but when she went on national T.V. & talked after Princess Di’s death, did she seam dare I say human.
Do you know how rare it is to have three generations of people who want to rule a country? There is Queen Elizabeth II; her eldest son, Charles the Prince of
Wales, left; and his eldest son, Prince William. I bet Andrew & Harry are so glad they don’t even have to think about this. Wouldn’t ya all luv to be a fly on the walls at their family dinners. I mean how many catfights do you thing go on so either Charles or William can have the honor of saying "My whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong” & we all know Kate wants to be queen over Camilla.
So like it or not she is someone that, 200 years from now people will still be taking about and in my option I want to be a very very small part of it. So yes I’ll
be up @ 4am to see History made. I mean who doesn’t want to be there when something very major happens so they can tell their grandkids. I was there, or I remember when….
Elizabeth II represents a constant. As royal commentator and Who's Who editor Richard Fitzwilliams says: "She has symbolized continuity in a time of change and
a large number of people can't remember a time when she wasn't on the throne.
There is a sense of reassurance; everyone knows that she is dedicated to
duty".
Well maybe someday when I’ve worked 60 years I can have beautiful castles, a carriage & thousands of people who luv me to…Me, I am impressed with everything the Queen has done.
So with that said,
Congratulations Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Mountbatten-Windsor, Congratulations!!!
