Two Companies Submit Proposals For Dormont Development

The proposals are for the transit-oriented development planned for the area between West Liberty Avenue and the Dormont Junction T station.

Two companies have submitted proposals to Dormont Borough for the transit-oriented development planned for the area between West Liberty Avenue and the Dormont Junction T station, according to a report from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

The two companies to submit proposals are Trek Development, a Pittsburgh-based real estate development firm, and Fore Property Company, a national real estate development firm with corporate offices in Las Vegas, NV and Washington, D.C., and regional offices in Orlando, FL; Dallas, TX; Kill Devil Hills, NC; and Reno, NV.

The land where the development would be build was acquired earlier this year in a land swap with #1 Cochran.
