South Hills Target Store Opening Date Revealed

The new Target store at South Hills Village Mall is set to open March 10, 2013, and the store is now hiring.

Target officials are looking for hourly team leaders and team members for the new store that is attached to South Hills Village.

Target is also having a mass hire event on Jan. 10, 11 and 12 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Fort Couch Road. Hundreds of interviews will be conducted to fill the positions. Although walk-ins are welcome, applicants are encouraged to apply online to avoid the lines.

The 145,000 square-foot store will employ more than 200 team members. 

Target representatives received approval from Upper St. Clair commissioners in June 2011 to renovate and add on to the first level of the former Boscov's building.
