Parking restrictions will be enforced on Saturdays through the winter at lots near one West Liberty Avenue Business.
Progressive Home Federal Savings & Loan, located at 3029 West Liberty Avenue, owns two parking areas near the business. Dormont police Sgt. James Burke said residents living in a nearby apartment building often park in those areas over the weekend.
However, Progressive is now open on Saturday mornings and Burke said parking restrictions there will now be enforced while the business is open on Saturday.
According to the Progressive Home Federal Savings & Loan website, the Dormont office will be open Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon, through April 30.
The Saturday parking restrictions apply only to the lots owned by Progressive, which are at the side and back of the building.

If the bank owns the lot, why is Dormont policing it? Shouldn't the bank do that themselves, with signs that threaten towing like other businesses. If they are not owned by the bank, why the special consideration. I can't even get the police to enforce the law against people parking on my sidewalk.
