Brookline Pub Crawl This Saturday

A pub crawl along Brookline Boulevard this Saturday is all about the local businesses.

A pub crawl in Brookline this Saturday will celebrate and support local businesses along Brookline Boulevard.

Hosted by the Brookline Chamber of Commerce, the pub crawl is being held to bring awareness to the program, which started over the summer as a way to support local businesses.

The Chamber has hosted pub crawls before, but this one is a little different. There's no initial cost to participate in the crawl—you'll just have to pay for drinks at the pubs—and the Chamber does not benefit monetarily from the event.

Chamber member and Cannon Coffee owner Nathan Mallory said the purpose of crawl is simply to frequent local businesses, bring neighbors together, and have a good time supporting Brookline.

It's something the Chamber hopes to host often, and they're planning to spread the word mainly through social media. Check the Because You're Mine I Shop the Line Facebook page, or the Cannon Coffee Facebook page for updates about future events.

If you're planning to participate, the plan is to meet at Moonlite Cafe at 7 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 10.
