If you’re still hungry after your Thanksgiving feast, Mexi Casa is bringing back a Black Friday event that should fill you up.
The West Liberty Avenue restaurant will hold Kegs and Eggs from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 23, and owner Theo Giannoutsos is hoping to duplicate last year’s success and good times.
“We’ve been very successful doing it on St. Patrick’s Day, so last year we decided to try it on Black Friday, too,” Giannoutsos said. “Last year we opened at 8 a.m. and the place was packed by 8:30 a.m.”
Also, on Black Friday only, Mexi Casa will serve the “Gobbler Burrito,” which Giannoutsos described as “Thanksgiving dinner in a burrito.”
