Beach Treats Now Open in Brookline

The new shop celebrated it's grand opening last weekend. Despite continuing construction, most other Brookline Boulevard businesses also are open "behind the barrier."

The newest addition to Brookline Boulevard is now open for business.

Beach Treats Gifts held its grand opening last weekend. The store is set up, and owners Rick and Peggy Lawrence invite customers to come in an shop, browse, chat and enjoy a cup of coffee.

The rest of the Boulevard also is open for business, despite continuing construction. Directional signs have been hung on the fences to guide customers through the construction area and into stores. Temporary walkways are in place.

Regular store hours for Beach Treats will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store will be closed Sunday and Monday. The owners said store hours can be adjusted to meet customers’ needs.
