Young Steel was founded last year by Brookline native Tera McIntosh and her fellow members of Steel City Slam, Pittsburgh's adult poetry slam league. Members of both groups are from all over the Pittsburgh area, and frequently perform during open mic nights at Cannon Coffee.

For their work with Young Steel, McIntosh and others from Brookline were recently featured in Equal Magazine. Click here to see who was featured.
