"Troubadour Blues" Premiere

Premiere screening of an exciting new documentary by Pittsburgh filmmaker Tom Weber. "Troubadour Blues" tells the story of hard-traveling folksingers like Peter Case, Chris Smither, Mary Gauthier, Dave Alvin and many others. These artists travel the lost highways of America far outside the media spotlight, singing songs of love, longing, hope and redemption. Musical guest is Mark Dignam, an Irish-born singer-songwriter who now lives in Pittsburgh. Doors open at 7, Mark plays at 7:30, and the film begins at 8 o'clock sharp. There will be a Q&A with the filmmaker after the movie, and DVDs will be on sale.
