Dormont Library's Summer Reading Closing Party - With Live Penguin

We’ll be wrapping up the Summer Reading Program with our Closing Party, featuring two special guests.

At 11 AM, the Pittsburgh National Aviary will present a Special Program called “Aviary On The Fly – Penguins” where a live penguin will visit and do a meet and greet with the audience. Join us to learn lots of fun facts and meet a real penguin!

From 12 to 12:45 PM, Brother Strawberry the Balloon Man will be on hand to create his amazing balloon sculptures. You may have seen some of his balloon flowers decorating our front desk, now you can get your own!

July 28 is your last chance to get credit for books you’ve read during the program, so don’t miss it!
