Anime Sunday, This Weekend at Hollywood Theater

"Black Christmas," "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale" and "Rocky Horror Picture Show" also on the Hollywood's marquee this weekend.

Theater-goers, put on your Santa hats and grab some popcorn – Dormont’s has an entertaining lineup planned for this weekend, including some darkly-themed Christmas films.

Opening tonight, Thursday, is “Black Christmas,” director Bob Clark’s 1974 thriller of a sorority house terrorized during Christmas break. “Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale” also opens Thursday. In this 2010 action/comedy, director Jalmari Helander tells the tale of a Christmas secret and the effort to uncover it.

Sunday is the day for Anime lovers, with a double-showing of “Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.” The showing is part of Hollywood Theater’s once-a-month Anime Sunday.
