48-Hour Film Project Screenings, This Weekend at the Hollywood

And if that's not your thing, there's a lot more on the marquee.

The 48-Hour Film Festival is this weekend at Dormont's Hollywood Theater, and film fans are invited to screen the results.

On July 12, filmmakers from around the world—125 cities, in total—were given a genre, a prop, a character and a line of dialogue to work into a short film, no shorter than four minutes long, no longer than seven. They had 48 hours to make it happen, and the July 20 screenings show what they came up with.

Screenings of 48-Hour film features start at 1 p.m. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $6 for students, children and seniors.
