Where To Park Around Dormont This Saturday
Two big events are happening in the area this Saturday, Sept. 14. Here's where to park for them.
With two big events happening in the Dormont area this weekend, parking could get a little tricky.
The Keystone Oaks School District's annual band festival is Saturday, Sept. 14 starting at 7 p.m. at Dormont Memorial Stadium. Normally, parking would be available at the Dormont Recreation Center—except that Dormont Main Street's Taste of Dormont event is happening there during the same time, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Here's where to park if you're planning to attend either of these local events:
Taste of Dormont: Reds, Whites, Brews and Blues: The event is under the tent in the Dormont Recreation Center parking lot, and attendees can park at that location, in the recreation center parking lot.
Keystone Oaks Marching Band Festival: The event is at Dormont Memorial Stadium, and overflow parking will be available at Dormont Elementary School and at Keystone Oaks High School. A shuttle bus will be provided to take attendees to the event.
