UPDATE: Lengthy McNeilly Road Project

Traffic restrictions through early July.

UPDATE: Roadwork is in full swing on the Mt. Lebanon portion of McNeilly (between Pearce Road and Midland Street).

Residents of , Mt. Lebanon, Dormont Borough and the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Brookline and Overbrook may want to consider other plans for their morning and evening commutes for a while.

Busy McNeilly Road could see its traffic come to a crawl—and often a stop—as crews from the Allegheny County Department of Public Works perform daylong milling and asphalt repaving on that road from June 11 through July 5.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, traffic may be limited on McNeilly to alternating, single-lane use from Route 88 in Overbrook to Midland Street on the border of Mt. Lebanon and Dormont. Restrictions may also occur on Fridays if inclement weather conditions affect the work schedule.

Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and Pittsburgh police officers. Motorists are asked not to park on the road's shoulder within 8 feet of the white edge line.
