When a couple of readers emailed me this week about gas prices in town, I couldn't believe what I saw—gas at Exxon in Dormont for $3.69 a gallon!
Not that $3.69 is particularly inexpensive, but that's certainly cheaper than it has been lately. As of Friday evening, that was still the price at Exxon, at the corner of West Liberty and Pioneer avenues.
Gas is a bit less expensive elsewhere around town, too. The Sunoco on Brookline Boulevard was advertising $3.73 a gallon on Friday afternoon. It's $3.77 at CoGo's on Potomac Avenue, and at the BP at the intersection of West Liberty and Capital avenues.
