Route 51 Water Line Work Overnights This Week

Single-lane closures will occur as needed on northbound Route 51 (Saw Mill Run Boulevard) in Pittsburgh's Overbrookneighborhood Tuesday through Thursday nights, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.
Expect the closures between Underwood and Maytide streets (near the Routes 51-88 intersection) from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, as crews from Pennsylvania American Water Company will be installing new water lines, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
