Picture This: Patch Invites You to Add to the Neighborhood Gallery

Dormont-Brookline Patch has always been pleased to serve as a destination for community members to share their opinions, photos and videos.

We call this User Generated Content (UGC)—otherwise known as cool stuff from readers—and we love seeing it on the site.

Now, we've made it even easier for you to share your favorite photos and videos on Patch. Birthday party? Post it! Holiday event? Post it! Make our Neighborhood Gallery your Neighborhood Gallery.

Here’s how it works:

1. Log in. If you have not already done so, sign up on Dormont-Brookline Patch. You’ll find the “sign up” link in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage.
2. Not far below the "sign up" and "log in" area, you’ll see a button that says “Gallery.” Click on that.
3. Now you’ll find yourself in the Neighborhood Gallery. There already are some photos there. To add yours, simply click the “Submit Photo and Video” button.
4. Select the items you’d like to add from your computer.
5. It’ll a take a few seconds to process your pics (longer for video).
6. Once that's done, you’ll have the oppoturnity to add a title, caption, and photo or video credit.
7. Finally, click on the “Update and Return to Article” button below.
8. Your photo or video is now ready to view!
