Patch Pets: Meet Raja

Can you give the little one a home?

Raja is a wonderful and loving cat. She's a 2-year-old buff orange tabby female who was returned to the shelter due to a new baby in the house. The owners felt they no longer had time to care for Raja and their baby. She is spayed and up to date on her shots.

Raja is a very mellow gal who is affectionate and loves attention and cuddling. She's happiest in a sunny windowsill or right next to you on the couch or in bed. She gets along with other cats given the proper adjustment time. As for dogs, she doesn't seem to care too terribly much about them, but it would be best to perform a test with your dog.

If you'd like any further information on Raja, you can contact her foster mom Heather at felineheather@gmail.com. Raja is currently up for adoption at the Petco Waterworks in Fox Chapel if you'd like to stop in and meet her.

Come to the Animal Rescue League at 6620 Hamilton Ave. in East Liberty or call 412-661-6452 to meet any dozens of dogs and scores of cats.

The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday through Monday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
