The new parking lot across from #1 Cochran on West Liberty Avenue is paved and landscaped, but Dormont Borough Manager Jeff Naftal said there are still a few steps to take before it opens to the public. The formal land exchange between the borough and #1 Cochran must be done, and the kiosk pay system is expected to be delivered next week. When the new lot opens, the triangle lot next to the Cochran dealership will close to the public. Naftal said council plans to discuss the temporary lack of parking spaces at its July 1 meeting.
