Local Family Looking For Missing Dog

Bella went missing last week, but has been spotted around Peters Township four times since then.

Owner Jennifer Garfold said her family misses their lost dog, Bella, very much. She went missing last Friday when she slipped out of her collar outside of  on East McMurray Road in .

Since then, she has been spotted nearly four times. Last Saturday, she was seen running across Fife Farm on Thompsonville Road. Monday afternoon, she was spotted near Valley Brook Road and Route 19—close to a gravel lot by the trail.

And this week, residents told Garfold over the phone that Bella was roaming the Hidden Brook neighborhood and Molly Drive.

Garfold said when she receives a call she tells the person not to try and catch her because Bella gets scared and will run.

She said a "very nice family" has been putting food outside of their home for her and they're hoping she continues to return there to eat.

"We think she runs around during the day," Garfold said. "Hopefully someone will spot her and call us with good news! We really miss her. She really is a part of our family."

Bella isn't wearing a collar and is shown pictured above. Garfold said she and her husband have been hearing from many Peters residents.

"(We) are overwhelmed at the outpour of love to find our sweet Bella from everyone in Peters," she said.

If you see Bella, call 412-445-1316. Let's get this puppy home.
