Liberty Tunnel Cleaning This Week
PennDOT will be cleaning the Liberty Tunnels this week, July 9 to 12.
Commuters, beware—Liberty Tunnel cleaning starts tonight.
Work to clean the inbound (northbound) Liberty Tunnel will occur nightly this week, Monday through Thursday nights, July 9 to 12.
Inbound single lane traffic will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. One lane will remain open at all times. Outbound traffic will not be affected.

PennDOT advises drivers to use caution, allow extra time and expect changing traffic patterns in the tunnel.
