Liberty Bridge, Banksville Road Work This Weekend

Here's what to expect with traffic this weekend.

Some weekend road work could make it a little challenging to get into Pittsburgh, and back home to and Brookline.

The ramp connecting the Liberty Bridge to Crosstown Boulevard will be closed for wall repairs from 8 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday.

In addition, the work on Banksville Road is still a few months from completion, and is expected to continue daily until early or mid-December.

There will be single-lane closures as needed between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the inbound (northbound) lanes, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the outbound (southbound) lanes between the Parkway West and Beverly/McFarland Road. Weekend work and restrictions also will continue.
