Last Chance: Register for Dance Classes at Brookline Rec Center

Got a tiny dancer at home, or want to learn a few steps yourself? Classes in ballet, tap, tumbling and more start tomorrow.

Whether you’re looking to learn how to dance, improve your steps or get your kids involved, now is the chance—dance classes for all ages are being held at Brookline Recreation Center this summer.

Classes begin Tuesday, July 9 and are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The cost is $30 for ten classes, and payment is due at the first class.

Age groups and times are as follows:

  • Age 3-4: Ballet, tap and tumbling, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
  • Age 5-7: Acrobatics, Ballet and Jazz, 11:30 a.m. to 12”15 p.m.
  • Age 8-12: Jazz, hip-hop and combinations, 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.
  • Adults: Tap, basic tap, shuffles, flaps and combinations, 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.
