Get Out Weekend Planner: Storytime, Easter Bunny and a Concert!

Welcome to the new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner! We recently combined the Grab & Go Kids Planner with Get Out for a one-stop shop for fun weekend planning!

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where/When:  , Thursday, 11 - 11:25 a.m.
Why Go: Parents and children can bond at this story time. Newborns through age 3 and a caregiver are invited to join in on stories, songs, rhymes and fingerplays.

Where/When: South Hills Village: Lower Level North Court, Monday - Saturday: 10:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Sunday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m
Why Go: The kids will love it! Take the children to South Hills Village for an Easter-themed ride.
Pricing: $2.25 for one ride, $7 for 4 rides

Where/When: South Hills Village: Lower Level North Court, Daily, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Why Go: To meet the Easter Bunny! Take adorable pictures with the Easter bunny to share with your whole family!

Why Go?: Lent is almost over! Bring the family for a delicious fish fry at the church.

Why Go?: End a work week with relaxation! Skip the bar happy hours and join in on a healthy yoga session.
Pricing: Suggested $5 Donation.

Where/When: The Dormont Area, Saturday, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Why Go?: Last week the Boy Scouts dropped bags off for food donations at various locations in Dormont. This Saturday the Scouts will be back to collect the food donations. The bags should be placed on the edge of the porch viewable from the street for pick up.

Where/When: , Saturday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Why Go?: Girls and Boys U-14 and younger (grades 1 through 8) are invited to attend this soccer clinic run by La Roche College Redhawks. Call to register!

Why Go?: Families are invited to the Dormont Easter Egg Hunt. There will be cookies, juice, an Easter Egg hunt in Dormont Park and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Why Go?: Come out for a night of great classic rock n roll as Silent Partner returns to one of their favorite local scenes!  All 5 members are originally from Brookline or Dormont, with the Zucco Brothers and Randy Van Hulton STILL living in Brookline.  The Pietosi brothers were raised in Dormont and still have many ties to the area. Enjoy classic rock from THEN and classic bands' new music from NOW!
