Get Out Weekend Planner: Concert, Art Exhibit and Elvis

Welcome to the new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner! We recently combined the Grab & Go Kids Planner with Get Out for a one-stop shop for fun weekend planning!

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where/When: , Thursday, 6:30-8:30 p.m
Why Go?: The church is hosting the band Captive Free for Family Night. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., followed by a concert at 7 p.m. This is an interactive program for all ages!
Pricing: Free.

2.
Where/When: , Thursday, 7-8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Yoga will energize your mind and body. There is no registration required for this class. Please bring your own water and towel.
Pricing: $1 mat rental fee.

Where/When: LifeSpan Community Resource Center, Friday, 6-9 p.m.
Why Go: The Primary Colors Art Guild of LifeSpan’s Hillsdale Community Resource Center is hosting its Annual Spring Art Event. The event will feature artwork by the Primary Colors Art Guild for both exhibit and sale. There will be appetizers, a Chinese auction and raffles. A free shuttle service will be provided to and from the event from the Dormont Pool Parking area.

Why Go: Admission to the auction will give you 25 chances to win any of the excellent prizes! There will also be additional prize tickets to purchase. Don't forget to check out the individual prizes, basket prizes, a 50/50 raffle and more! Light refreshments will be available. All proceeds go to the . You can purchase tickets at the front desk any time between May 2-13, or purchase tickets at the door. Cash or check payments only.

Why Go: This program will provide a gentle, yet energizing workout for seniors.

Where/When: Green Tree Fire Hall (825 Poplar St), Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Why go?: There will be over a thousand geraniums available in five colors and perennials from the club's perennial and member's garden. Plus, gardening books, a flea market, jewelry sale, Chinese auction, bake sale and crafts!

Where/When:Pottery Barn Kids at the Galleria, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why Go?: Learn how to create a Pottery Barn Kids room! The staff will provide parents with great tips on creating a beautiful and fun environment for children. Call to register.

Why Go: Cheerleading registration is open to girls in the Keystone Oaks Area who will be in grades 1 through 6 in the fall of 2011. Cheerleading is a three to four month commitment with practices starting at the end of July or beginning of August.
Pricing: $60 to be paid at registration with a mandatory fundraiser of $50 to be decided at a later date

Why Go?: There will be a martini tasting and hor d'Oeuvres will be served from 7-8 p.m. Live entertainment will begin at 8 p.m.

Where?/When?: , Sunday, 12:15 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Why Go?: St. Pius X Women's Group is sponsoring a baby shower for children in need. The shower begins after 11:15 a.m. Mass. Drop off your gift and stop in for food, fun and crafts for children. Items that are needed include diapers, wipes, baby bottles, receiving blankets and clothing for infants and children up to age 5. Call 412-563-1588 to RSVP.
