Welcome to the new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner! We recently combined the Grab & Go Kids Planner with Get Out for a one-stop shop for fun weekend planning!

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Why Go: Take a trip around the globe with some of your favorite film characters. All movies rated G or PG. Please call the Library for titles. Recommended for children entering grade K-5.

Why Go: Join this Latin-infused fitness class that will have you moving and shaking the pounds away! The class takes place in the Municipal Center Gym. Register at the Dormont Main Offices or at your first class.
Pricing: 1/wk: $40 Resident, $45 Non-resident; 2/wk: $65 Resident, $70 Non-Resident; 3/wk: $90 Resident, $95 Non-resident.

Why Go?: One night, three hilarious comedians and a million laughs! Comedians David Kaye, Chuck Krieger and Lisa Dapprich will perform at this fun fundraiser. This is a BYOB event for ages 21 and over. Ticket price includes a full pasta dinner, dessert buffet and comedy show. Proceeds benefit all LifeSpan services for seniors

Why Go: This week, BNY Mellon Jazz presents the John Patitucci Trio as part of the Allegheny County Summer 2011 Concert Series.

Why Go?: Brookline Cultural Trust is hosting our first Benefit Show at Club Cafe featuring Costello and the Cool Minors and Recycled Air. Also Zack Hudson and Jan Dewitt will be doing some acoustic runs, with Tera and Johann being our feature poets.  This event is strictly 21+ due to venue requirements. Tickets are available at in Brookline.  All proceeds will benefit Brookline Arts and Awareness through the direction of a Board of Directors.

Why Go?: The South Park Nature Center will hold a butterfly event for youths and adults. The program is a "search and enjoy" mission for these beautiful, fascinating creatures.

Why Go?: Ages 3 and up will learn about the land of the Amazon by creating a mask and snake! This is a Make-It Take-It program with purchase of mask while supplies last.

Why Go?: The Upper St. Clair Founders Memorial Fund presents the 8th Annual JBJ Baseball Classic at the . This charity fundraiser is structured like a golf outing, only instead of golf participants will play one nine inning game of baseball. The organization will supply pitches, catchers, umpires and equipment. Participants need only to bring a glove. Participants can organize a team or get a spot on an existing team.
