Welcome to the new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner! We recently combined the Grab & Go Kids Planner with Get Out for a one-stop shop for fun weekend planning!

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

1. Dooby Dooby Moo
Where/When: , Friday and Saturday, 1:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Dooby Dooby Moo is based on the book by Doreen Cronin. The show features a Talent Show at the County Fair with farm animals. Everyone in the family will enjoy this "mooooosical!"
Pricing: Children 15 and under: $12; Adults: $14

Where/When: , Thursday, 7 p.m.
Why Go: Up to $4,000 is given away each Thursday at Bingo! Each game winner receives a $00 prize. There are five specials where you can win $200 for each special. There are many other interesting small games of chance played through the evening. This is a non-smoking Bingo.
Pricing: Donation is $15 for a 25-page 9-card packet, $10 for packet #2 and $5 for packet #3 or more.

Where/When: , Thursday, 7-8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Yoga will energize your mind and body. There is no registration required for this class. Please bring your own water and towel.
Pricing: $1 mat rental fee.

4.Lisa Clay Styles Memorial Run & Walk
Where/When: South Park, Saturday, 9 a.m.
Why Go?: This event is to honor Lisa Clay Styles as a mother, wife, friend and runner. Lisa was hit by a car when the car ran a stop sign on Jun. 28, 2010. She passed away the following day. Her final act before being struck was to push the stroller with two of her young children to safety. The race will start near the Children's Playground in South Park and continue up Corrigan Drive. This is a stroller-friendly 5K Run and 1 mile walk. Click here to register.
Pricing: $25 for the 5K Run, $20 for the 1 mile walk, All participants registering in advance are guaranteed a t-shirt.

5. Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic: Waving Flag  
Where/When: Lowe’s, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why Go: Children in grades 2-5 can show their patriotism for the 4th of July by creating a cool waving flag!

6. Grandview Park Community Day
Where/When: Grandview Park, Saturday, 12 - 4 p.m.
Why go?: Stop by this Community Day in Mt. Washington for arts and crafts, music, cars and fun!
Pricing: Free.

7. Downtown Heroes Block Party
Where/When: 900 Block of Liberty Ave., Saturday, 12 - 8 p.m.
Why Go: Parents and kids aged 6-12 will enjoy a superhero activities, such as a sound effects workshop, make-your-own superhero costume activities, outdoor jazz, and a special matinee performance of Midnight Radio: Superhero Edition! Other participating organizations include the August Wilson Center for African American Culture, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, and VisitPittsburgh.

8. Woody Washes for Animal Friends   
Where/When: Woody’s Dog Wash & Boutique, Sunday, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Why Go?: All proceeds from dog washes will go to Animal Friends. Take this opportunity to tour the Animal Friends Hospital Truck, see dogs, cats and bunnies or check out the vendors and freebies!

Where/When: Keystone Canine Training Club, Sunday, 1 - 4 p.m.
Why Go?: The Keystone Canine Training Club is celebrating its new state-of-the-art facility with a FREE training expo and open house. There will be free workshops for dog owners every half hour and demonstrations of American Kennel Club agility, obedience and rally skills by some of the top dogs. Also, the event will offer door prizes, free samples and information on pet insurance. All are welcome to attend!

Where/When: , Sunday, 5 - 6:15 p.m.
Why Go?: In this class, instructor Sara DeRoy will teach the foundations of belly dance while deepening knowledge for dancers with previous experience. Classes will include emphasis on isolations, strength building exercises, foot patterns and combinations with a focus on tribal fusion belly dance and Turkish stylization.  Sara also draws on her experience in ballet, tango, and body alignment. All levels of experience are welcome.
